The Iron Mountain FRA-2 data center in Frankfurt am Main is located in Germany's largest financial and telecommunications center, in Frankfurt.

Buildings

• The building complex has a total area of 50,000 square meters and houses individual
• 19-inch racks. 
• Air conditioning and ventilation systems are reserved according to the N+1 scheme, and the indoor temperature is maintained at 24 degrees Celsius +/- 4 degrees. 
• The temperature is controlled by sensors. 

Connectivity

• Connectivity is provided by telecom operators such as Tata Communications, Cogent, Deutsche Telekom, Arelion, Telefonica, Vodafone, and traffic exchange points such as AMS-IX, NL-IX, DE-CIX (direct connection), and many other European points. 

Power

• Power supply per rack is 7 kilowatts, with the ability to scale, and N+1 UPS systems are used with backup batteries. 

• More than 120 megawatts of emergency power are available in case of a power outage, and diesel generators are designed to operate for three days in the event of disconnection from the grid. 
• 100 percent "green energy" is used.
